I'm looking for ideas on how to promote NPW on my local beach in the Toronto Beaches. Doesn't need to be huge, but I'd like to have some kind of event rather than just 'come down and try this out'.
What are other SUP companies doing?

some other SUP organizations are running 1/2 daytrip guided excursion or a fun race, relay race with a simple prize (maybe something from your company?). HOpe this helps.

I work at a group home for At-Risk-Youth and for National Paddle Week myself and two other staff will be teaching 10 youth paddle strokes for white water, trip planning and most importantly saftey when on the water, for our upcoming canoe trip of 12 days on the Churchill River starting at Besnard Lake, SK and finishing at Missinippi, SK. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of canoing on the Churchill River it is a definite must for anyone who loves canoing. Happy National Paddle Week Everyone!!
